Our well-established company is well integrated into the business and commercial environment of our area, namely the town of Moncalieri, near Turin, Italy. We preserve our strong ties with tradition, while at the same time paying attention to the future, to the technological innovation in our industry and to the ongoing taste and lifestyle developments.

Since 1999, our company has been benefiting from the expertise of the Casto and Melodoro families, which boast a very long tradition in such areas as sourcing, processing and marketing cow and pig tripe.

In 1949 Mr. Claudio Casto, the company's founder, rediscovered some traditional recipes from the area around his home town of Moncalieri, to make salami by cooking and moulding pig and cow tripe.

Faced with the ever growing and ever more sophisticated demands of its domestic and foreign markets, our company has now expanded its procurement activities well beyond its original areas, and it now gets its input products from all over Italy and as far as from France, Brazil and Argentina, all the while sticking to strict product quality specifications.

These sensible and farsighted policies have allowed our company to become a leader in the Italian and Eastern European markets.
